1,713 miles · rear motor needs rebuild or replacement · brakes need service
Sold as-is. The rear motor needs to be rebuilt or replaced, and the brakes need to be serviced or replaced. Neither is being repaired by us. Priced accordingly.
Same bike as #25 above — 48V 15Ah Samsung-cell battery, Mozo suspension fork, Schwalbe Super Moto-X tires, Shimano Acera 8-speed, alloy fenders, 50-lb rated rear rack, Buchel 80-lux headlight — with 1,713 miles and two things wrong instead of one.
Your parts cost to make this right: $285 for the complete rear wheel and motor from Ride1UP with free shipping, plus a brake set. We use the ZOOM HB876E 4-piston set, around $91 — and that's an upgrade, not a repair. The 700 Series ships from the factory with two-piston Tektro calipers; the ZOOM set is four-piston and keeps the electric motor cut-off. You can also order original Tektro parts directly from Ride1UP if you'd rather keep it stock.
$425 plus roughly $376 in parts puts you at about $800 into a bike that was $1,595 new — with better brakes than it left the factory with.
Ex-rental fleet bike. Ridden hard, maintained properly, and we're not pretending otherwise.
